Wonder Man<\/em> is not your typical superhero show; rather, it’s one of the most interesting ones you can stream this year. It may not have the same heaviness that some of the other shows on this list do, which adds to its appeal. Wonder Man<\/em><\/a> follows a struggling actor, Simon Williams (Watchmen’s<\/em> Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), hiding an explosive and mysterious superpower, as he auditions for the lead role in the remake of the superhero film Wonder Man. He is joined by a returning MCU favorite, Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), who you may remember from Iron Man 3<\/em> and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Simon’s power, which he does not know the limits of, is kept concealed, given the Doorman Clause, which prohibits superpowered humans from the universe’s fictional Hollywood. Wonder Man<\/em> ties together Simon’s journey as an actor to his past, family, and abilities.<\/p>\n
